hello folks, just purchase a sig m11-A1 9mm, have a question, down the road
I might want to order parts or whatever would p299 be the same as the m11-A1?

lima22, yes the M11A1 uses the same frame size as the P229, rather than the P228 as denoted on the grip.
Magazines are noted as P229-1.
For a "Parts Kit", you would want one for the P229 9mm

SIG never directly referred to the M11-A1 as a P228 in any of its official literature, at least that I have seen. They just put P228 grips on essentially a P229 and called it a M11-A1 to imply an association to the military M11/P228.

As others have said, you are supporting a P229 despite what the left side grip panel says, not that there aren't some shared part between the P228 and P229 models.

Depending on the part you order, it may be a standard finish P229 part or the phosphate plated version consistent with your M11A1 model.
