Same hereYou have a great SIG, with an identity crisis.
I have a 228, 229 and a M11-A1. All are perfect guns!
SIG never directly referred to the M11-A1 as a P228 in any of its official literature, at least that I have seen. They just put P228 grips on essentially a P229 and called it a M11-A1 to imply an association to the military M11/P228.SIG called it a P228 for many years but has finally changed it's designation to P229.
