M11-A1 and P229 Legion compatibility

I’m new to the M11-A1 but I’ve had a P229 Legion for a while. I’ve figured that there is some ability to swap parts. Magazines, threaded barrel and RXP P229 slides included?

Straight swap. As mentioned previously, the M11-A1 is the P229(9), aka 229-1.

Straight swap.
Nice. That makes the purchases total less, in my mind.
Is your Legion SAO or DA/SA? Could make a difference with the safety if SAO when using with the M11A1 slide.
I picked up a new P229 Legion with a Dec 2021 mfg date. It has a newer style mag catch that doesn't look compatible with the older models (incl. M11-A1), since there's no support plate on the new Legion. Also, they got rid of the sear spring pin on the new models. That function is performed by a new style ejector that has an extra protrusion on it in order for the sear spring to maintain pressure. Otherwise, everything else appears to be the same

Thanks. My Legion was born in 2016, but I will see how the barrels and stock slides work on the other and then see how the new RXP slide works on each when it arrives.
Gotcha. The slides and barrels should be good to go for swapping since they're both "P229-1" with the correct locking blocks in the frames. Happy shooting!
All good. I’m pretty sure I kept the original barrels straight and that the label in the last picture is correct…

Sorry for not cleaning up the new RXP slide before assembling - it’s my first RDS and I was too excited to bother. To me it looks like the color matches the Legion.
