I have a gen 1. It's completely reliable but can't stand shooting it suppressed with so much gas blow back to the face. Anyone know of a fix?

Talk to the folks at InLeadWeTrust about their barrels.
Also, consider making your own gas buster charging handle modifications with some silicon sealant.
