Leupold Delta Point Pro on P320C?

Hi all,

Tomorrow I'm planning on picking up a Sig P320C - MA compliant. I want to mount a delta point pro on it ... and while I THINK it will fit, I can't find anyplace that says explicitly it will fit. I know I'll have to have the slide milled ... just want to be sure there is enough real estate.

Has anyone mounted the DPP (or other optic with same footprint, like the Romeo 1, on a 320C?

Pics welcome! Thank you!

It will fit if it has the RXP (Romeo 1 Pro) cut, if it’s older with the RX (Romeo 1) cut it will only fit with an adapter plate.
If it’s a new P320 with slide cut it should be RXP and work fine. I have both Romeo 1 Pro and Delta Point Pro and both fit fine

Very helpful, thank you. It is a new gun without an optic cut; I'm going to have my gunsmith mill it for me. Just last minute check to be sure there is enough room.

Do you prefer one of those optics over the other?
When you get it, field strip it and look under the slide. Some non-optics slides have deep weight reduction slots underneath. These can not be milled since the cut will break through. My 320C is one of them. I ended up buying an RX complete slide kit a while back.

I would find one with the RXP cut it would be less expensive in the long run.
Just my opinion as a gunsmith.

Thank you ... I had no idea! I just picked mine up and no cut like this ... so I think I'm fine.

@cmdrcody Thank you ... appreciate the perspective of a gunsmith! I wanted to buy this new, so I got what came with it ... slide does not appear to have the deep cut pictured above. I'm going to have my local gunsmith mill the slide for me.

Another question if you don't mind ... I find the factory trigger a bit mushy. I'm not looking for super light pull - nothing less than 4lbs - but I would like it crisper. What would you suggest as an owner/smith?

I prefer the Apex bar over others that I’ve tried. But it’s a person preference. It’s a very crisp break that isn’t “too light”.
