Why would an alloy striker fired gun not be feasible(sp?)... I guess my simple way of thinking leads me to believe it would make a gun like the 320 even better..... great trigger with good feel and balance of metal instead of plastic... er um I mean polymer...

Totally possible and even done before....(at least all-steel ones...HK P7, new Hudson H9...)

...but polymer is just more economic and lighter in weight....there's kind of no point to do an aluminum frame for mass/general production.
