Just ordered 4.0 iwb, belt recommendations

You’ll get a lot out of reformations here, and some controversy as well…however, I’ve been using a KORE Essentials black web style ESC belt and have been loving it. Rated up to 8 pounds. Got it in place of my aging Done Hume leather belt

my IWB EDC is a Sig P365 with Lima Laser and an Alien Gear OWB mag holder with 15 round capacity.

I like the rigidity, but the big thing is the ratcheting buckle system. Just makes the whole system more comfortable as you can minutely adjust to the perfect tension.

I second the Kore. I use a leather belt from them and it's great. I prefer them over the nextbelt and gave my step-dad my nextbelt.

Which leather belt are you running? I notice they have different weights. Looks like a nice belt for sure. I appreciate both your and gryphons response

Just the standard 4lb leather gun belts.

I have several belts from this place, IMO they work and look great.

Another recommendation for the Kore Essential. Been using it for several years now and it is excellent.

I like the ones sold by Vedder Holsters. Thick and stiff.

I have a Bigfoot gun belt I’ve been using for about 5 years. It’s held up great and looks pretty good.

+kore with ratchet

I don't seem to have much luck with gun belts lately. I had a black leather one with an insert for so many years that I don't remember who made it? It was great but its worn out

So because of all the recommendation (and because I like the idea of a ratchet system) I bought a Kore belt (the Nylon "tactical" model the X3 buckle). Looks good but the damn things squeaks every time I move. I only wore it maybe 2 times before I just couldn't handle the noise any more.

So then I decided to go back to leather and bought a Crossbreed Executive belt which I really liked until ~ the 3rd time I wore it and the buckle gave out so now I'm back to my old worn out belt until I figure out what's next?

I nave tried several but always seem to go back to the Wilderness Tactical Instructor belt.
