They know as much as you and I and anyone else about when they will see primers

They assume it is because primers are being used in whatever ammo is being loaded.

They have received a few shipments, small amounts (Whatever that means by their standards) and they list them at their normal prices and they are gone in minutes

Perhaps literally camping on their primer web page hitting refresh for days even weeks at a time might get you some?????

They said they have no idea and do not know any more than you or I do.

Nice they did not try and make up some BS but not very reassuring either

Ignoring all the panic buying of ammo and reloading components, think of all the different steps in the production of raw materials for a primer, and then all the steps in the production of the primer from the raw materials, and all the logistical steps involved between each...and how COVID-19 has disrupted that chain of events at all those many steps along the way. Who knows when things might get back to normal.
