I no longer own it because I couldn’t trust it. Had 2. Sold both even though I only had problems with one.

Ditto, plus I use 8-round Kimber Micro 9 mags. Never had a problem with the gun or the mags. When I carry, it's my P938.I've had my P938 for several years and it has been accurate and totally reliable from day one. After hundreds of rounds I have never had a failure of any kind. It is my favorite carry gun.
Excellent!I voted "My P938 had problems repaired by Sig and is now my EDC," but now that I have a P365, that's going to change.
the Survey Is MOOT.
Data is data and can be useful, so I do not consider any feedback moot when I ask questions. I have 805 rounds through my P938. I can only recall of maybe 4-5 FTF or FTE out of all of 805 rounds fired. That is only .004-.006% (4 to 6 thousands of 1%). And those occurred during the first 200 rounds and could have been due to 1)my own limp hold adjustment to micro-compact, 2)different brands of cartridges, 3) residue buildup up on a feed ramp after 30-40 rounds fired or 4)general break-in. IMO, use a quality branded cartridge and fire 50-100 rounds. User field strip and clean. Use some light rail grease. Go through another 50-100 rounds and clean again. After a couple hundred rounds go though a box or two of 20 of defensive JHP rounds and if do FTF, FTE call it good. Keep records. If having problems contact SIG and send it in for inspection. If no problems then use for EDC. But I think it wise to fire at least 2 mags of FMJ and 1 mag of JHP each month, if not every two weeks. And remember the old saying “cleanliness if next to Godliness”. In this case means keep powder residue down. Also keep in mind that from pure statistics perspective the likelihood that your P938 will work correctly when you need it is far greater than the likelihood you will need to use it in self defense. Perhaps on the order of 100 to 1.I'd like to suggest a poll. I'd like to see how many Sig P938 owners trust their pistols for EDC, verses how many have had failures of any kind. I'm lucky enough to have both a new P938 and a new P365. I bought the 365 first, but just bought the 938 because I'm a big fan of SA pistols. It worries me though, that post after post in the P938 forum are people with problems. So far just 50 rounds thru my 938. How many rounds do I need to fire before deeming it trustworthy? My P365 has fired hundreds of rounds without a problem. Please participate if you'd like, and for those that choose not to, no hard feelings!
Not a trick question, but you made a good point. Looking for input from folks who either had trouble & sold them off or had Sig make them right. Is this a trick question? My guns all run dependable or I would sell them off.
My math tell me that 4 failures out of 800 rounds fired is actually .5%, but your advice is good, and your points are well taken. Cleaning and maintenance are a good prescription for a firearm, or anything else mechanical running well.Data is data and can be useful, so I do not consider any feedback moot when I ask questions. You are correct. should have written 0.005 times or 0.5%.My math tell me that 4 failures out of 800 rounds fired is actually .5%, but your advice is good, and your points are well taken. Cleaning and maintenance are a good prescription for a firearm, or anything else mechanical running well.![]()
