Wanted to stop in and say hello from Maryland. I have been a Sig fan since my first P228 in the late 80s. Have been interested in German pistols after shooting my grandfather's Walther P38 as a kid. Over the years I have acquired West German, German and American made Sig 220s, 226s, 228s and 229s. I will admit that the WG P220 is my favorite.

Welcome from Western North Carolina. Eastern shore or mainland? My brother's first USCG duty station was Chincoteague.

Welcome from PA!

First time I saw an ocean was Ocean City, MD, when I was 11 years old.

Does the Embers Steakhouse still exist??

Yes, they are still open. That is also the same steakhouse we would go to every year during the Fireman's convention.
OC has really grown over the years, my wife and I prefer the off season now.

Wow, I was there in 1964.

Embers had a steak called: "Pittsburgh Rare". Ash black on outside, blood rare inside. It was amazing.

That was about 53 years ago!
