Looking forward to all your expertise! Gotta start somewhere 🤷‍♀️
Military family background. Recently had opportunity to explore shooting again - forgot how fun it is! Excited to gain knowledge.

Hi from NH. You may be close enough to take then pilgrimage to the mothership. Unfortunately it would be to look at many things you can’t take home to MA. ☹

Ha! I actually will be going to some classes in Fall. One pistol and and one rifle...so far. The diff in laws between states is one of the items I have to looks further. My family is in WA and one thing I heard was (which I do not know if it is correct), is my dad could buy a gun and give it to me? Again, I am not looking to violate laws or do anything nefarious...just need education.

The classes here are great, you will enjoy them. As far as a gift from your dad, check with the Mass state laws on possession of certain firearms. He can gift you one of his, but it has to be transferred through an FFL in MA. I’m not sure, but I think even if you owned them before moving to MA they need to meet the requirements of their roster (which is rather limiting). I think you’ll need to apply for and obtain the Mass LTC just to get ammo (not 100% sure). Good luck!

Thanks for the info. There are guns I will inherit eventually so that is really helpful. Sounds like I need to buy a cabin in NH and split residency :sneaky:.
