Hi Everyone,
A quick intro to say hello! It has taken me awhile to find this site, but as some of you might appreciate...nothing brings you quicker to the internet than screwing up a re-assembly! Haha.
So a little about my journey to Sig... First off, I love shooting sports! However, I have to admit that I am a bit of an HK addict, but I actually think that makes me even more appreciative of the innovation that Sig has introduced over the past few years. I have multiple HK platforms, so when I saw the MCX a few years ago, I immediately saw how the modular design of the platform was such a positive leap forward. I called up my "drug dealer" aka FFL and ordered one right away. For whatever reason, I got a good deal on an 11.5 SBR and I knew I wanted the flexibility of the platform, so I filled out the paperwork and started the long wait. Then came the months of dreaming about the new rifle and trying to figure out how I wanted to configure my rifle. Without knowing any better, I ended up with almost every accessory configuration possible! Plus an additional a MCX for 300BLK, a MPX-K and a P320X5. This is usually where someone chimes in "picture or it didn't happen"...assuming I figured out how to attach pictures properly.
Which brings me to how I found the site... As I mentioned, I love shooting sports and have been shooting my HK's in local matches, but recently had a chance to participate in a match that allowed optics. So I thought what a great opportunity to try out my X5 (non-legion) in a match. I do love the pistol and looking forward to Sig coming out with a small grip TXG module to make it perfect for me. But in the meantime, I wanted to upgrade my X5 with a GrayGun trigger. I followed the instructions until I couldn't figure out where one little spring, that now I know is the safety lever lift spring, went!!! So off to the internet and eventually here to SigTalk. I am really looking forward to learning from everyone on this forum.
