My mistake - I left out the 10mm caliber part. lolCz97, fnx45,
Ease of keeping count and if we can fit 15+ in micro compact 9mms, there's no reason we can't do at least 10 rounds of 10mm.Why 10 round minimum?
No offense, but I'm not sure as to the purpose of your post?Be careful what you wish for. There are LOTS of folks out there wandering around with micro-9s that can't shoot/control them, much less .45acp or 10mms like G29s. Lots of people wear pistols like a good-luck charm. They have little or no training, even less practice, but are confident in their ability to produce their roscoe quickly under stress (they can't - see: practice), and think that just waving it around will produce the desired result - especially if they have their super-kewel tactical weapon light attached to "help them identify the threat"...
I have bad news for you. In a shooting situation you are not going to keep track accurately of shots fired.Ease of keeping count and if we can fit 15+ in micro compact 9mms, there's no reason we can't do at least 10 rounds of 10mm.
I am just responding to the OP's query as to the existence of a hammer-fired, 10-rd., micro(?)-10mm. Obviously, it is a marketing niche yet to be exploited. I am sure that Staccato could be persuaded to fill the gap.No offense, but I'm not sure as to the purpose of your post?
I'm not looking for a micro 10mm - hence why I said a 10mm P226 would be perfect with 10+. I've owned a G29SF and it was too small for the Underwood ammo I fired through it. Something with a 4" or 4.5" barrel and a hammer would be divine.I am just responding to the OP's query as to the existence of a hammer-fired, 10-rd., micro(?)-10mm. Well, with an M249 and taking fire, I didn't need to keep track. 200rd drums give you a lot of discretionary counting.I have bad news for you. In a shooting situation you are not going to keep track accurately of shots fired.
It is called cop math. Ask any cop that has been in a shooting how many rounds he fired, he will give you a number. It is wrong, every time. There are two times to reload, when you have to and when you can.Well, with an M249 and taking fire, I didn't need to keep track. 200rd drums give you a lot of discretionary counting.
I don't know about the rest of you, but every time I pull the trigger, I'm counting.
I've done some searching about converting a USP into 10mm, but there are compromises everywhere. No slide staying open, can't extract, etc. There just isn't a way to do it without some annoying compromise.i actually have an HK 10mm barrel for my USP stainless. its slim picking when it comes to 10mm especially hammer fired. I just sold one of my P-220 Legions in 10mm it was an amazing gun but I was perturbed about the 8 round magazines
I'm not doubting the barrels, it's how to get it to work is the problem.not at all. are you on HK FORUM ... A gentleman did a batch ane they are flawless
Yep sad but oh so true.Be careful what you wish for. There are LOTS of folks out there wandering around with micro-9s that can't shoot/control them, much less .45acp or 10mms like G29s.
