Guns.com?

786 Views 8 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  V35A
Recently I saw a used firearm on guns.com that I almost purchased. I instead made an offer and received an email stating that I would receive a reply within 24 hours. Two days later they replied with a counter offer…the same listed price.
I decided to see if I could find some reviews about the place. I looked through one page on Trustpilot and it was probably 90% negative. The majority was new guns that were beat up or missing parts.
I was wondering if anyone here has used guns.com and what your experience was.

I’ve browsed them occasionally. I didn’t like the fact that they’re a broker and one can’t communicate w/ the vendor (as far as I could see), stock photos, and a very generic description on most of the stock I ck’d out.
Blew them off long ago.

There's something about guns.com that puts me off. Compared to GB they have limited
(or no) products and something seems strange about their pricing. Like most of us I'm
always on the market for a new gun, but I've never even come close to buying off that
site.

I bought a Legion P220 10mm about a year ago through them. I paid more than I wanted, but they were hard to find when I bought it. Transfered to my local gun shop. They were okay to deal with.

Guns.com is a mess. I have purchased three guns over a year or so from their website. But....since they don't offer a sort by price, you are stuck paging through hundreds of guns to maybe find one at a good price. During pandemic, it kept me busy scrolling through those pages. But one thing you can always be sure of...they will list low end guns at ridiculous prices

yeah, most of the negative reviews are about people waiting a lifetime to get their products. Because, as you stated, they are a broker.

However, if hes looking at a used gun, Im sure it is in stock ready to ship. Alot different than a "new firearm"

I've purchased one used gun from them. I got it at a good price and the service and shipping was fast. The gun itself was actually in very good condition, better than I thought it would be. I had no problems with them and would buy there again.

I've bought three used handguns from them in the past and had good results each time. The prices were right and if anything, they understated the condition, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. ;)

Bought a used 44 S&W from them 2 years ago. Good price and arrived within a week. A few days later I found some imperfections inside the barrel. I sent them pictures and they said I could return for a refund if I desired. So, in my case they treated me well.
