I usually give them a second chance by sending another inquiry. But some sellers are total jerks. Move on, if they don't respond.

Agreed.I usually give them a second chance by sending another inquiry. But some sellers are total jerks. Move on, if they don't respond.
I asked exactly what you asked for (details about the items) and always politely. For example, I asked one seller to either send or post a picture of the back of a magazine so could confirm it was as advertised.Im not sure what youre asking them, so I couldnt guess.
However, I asked a seller about a Dan Wesson ECO. They only had one picture. I just asked if they had any additional images. The picture was also kind of "grainy"
I reached out twice, and never heard back. I decided not to bid on an item they dont care to be transparent with
There are definitely jerks/scum bags on GB
Made in Italy aren’t they? Some of them jerks belong to this forum, also. I once had seller tell me to eff off for accusing him of trying to deceive folks, when all I did was pointing out what he listed was incorrect. He was selling the 19-rd mags for the German Xguns, listing them as made in Germany in the auction heading, when they were all Mec-Gar. The 19-rd Xgun mags are never German made, for those who wonder. Yes, he's member here.![]()
Yes, Mec-Gar = Made In Italy. No such thing as Mec-Gar made in Germany.Made in Italy aren’t they?
Thanks man! Some people have talked about how they contacted the seller to do a deal off GB, or some sort of other imposition that could get the seller kicked off GB.I asked exactly what you asked for (details about the items) and always politely. For example, I asked one seller to either send or post a picture of the back of a magazine so could confirm it was as advertised.
Agreed on the salesmanship. I must have just been lucky before. I used to get roughly 80-90% of my questions replied to. And the vast majority of those replies were helpful or at the very least, polite.I get spotty replies on GB too. Maybe 40% reply. Worse, the replies I do get are usually short
and snarky. It's like I'm bothering them somehow with my "annoying" question.
A little friendly salesmanship goes a long way to making a sale. Bad attitude = no deal![]()
