GRIP SCREW SIZE...... 1911 Tac-Ops 10mm

Hello ladies and gentleman. Good morning...I am trying to replace the grips on my Sig Sauer Tacops 1911 chambered in 10mm....

Does anyone know the type of screw used???
Does anyone know if there are only certain? types of grips or grip screws that fit or work?

lastly.... any recommendations on which grips you might use or have used that would make thia gun pop!

I believe they use the common 1911 thread dimensions, .150" - 50TPI, with length dependent on grips, standard normally .250" long threads.

Grip wise, much can be dependent on the holster, if natural/brown leather, these may look good... SIG SAUER 1911 SELECT G10 BROWN WITH SIG LOGO (cdnnsports.com) if using black leather, those grips wouldn't "clash" visually.

Hogue makes some nice reasonably priced Hardwood grips, but in most cases, it's best to choose them in person, as figure, and coloration varies between sets, and even individual grips.

As Willard eluded per screw length-

There are 2 grip screw bushing options also depending on the thickness of the grip panels used.
I prefer slotted head screws vs hexhead for ease in maintenance.
