Details to follow after installation. If anyone wants specific comparison info or detail pics before I install just let me know. I'll do my best but I don't know how you guys get such good pics, even in direct sunlight - mine suck.

Trigger marked "STD" is the standard SIG trigger recently removed from a P220 Combat.
Trigger marked "AC" is the Armory Craft flat trigger
Trigger marked "GG" is the new Grey Guns Precision adjustable straight trigger in alloy steel (arrived in my mailbox today)

Heres a few of the Grey Guns trigger vs the trigger installed at SIG on the P226 Legion SAO.

As expected the trigger face seems to be exactly the same size and geometry, some of the pics make the new trigger look a little smaller but that's just the angle of the camera. I'm not going take the trigger out of the Legion to compare the engagement portions of the two but I can see that they are different (to be expected, since one was designed for a SAO and the other DA/SA)

Are you installing the AC and the GG triggers in different guns?
I have installed two AC triggers already and I am waiting for two GG triggers that were supposed to arrive today and did not.

If you take pictures of the pre travel adjustment it will be great.
On the AC install, the front rod had to be filed almost to nothing in order to get DA reset. I am wondering if the allen wrench supplied will fit on the back of the installed trigger or if you have to remove the trigger, do some adjustment and re install it several times until you get the reset.

Personally, I would go with the GG simply b/c I have dealt with them, and they are good people. Small operation that believes in doing it right. You can call and talk to Bruce, if you want. They will take care of you.

P227 with Grey Guns flat alloy steel trigger installed.

You can make the travel adjustments after you install the trigger but BEFORE you reinstall the locking block. Again BEFORE you reinstall the locking block... I was on a roll and got it all apart, the trigger installed, and put back together in 25 minutes then realized I couldn't adjust anything back apart and had a hell of a time getting the locking block back in this time. Regardless, it's finished and it's awesome. Adjustments are made with the included alley key and are very simple to make.

Short doesn't even begin to describe the amount of reset travel, I don't have a way to measure it but there is practically no movement back to the reset position, best way to describe it is it's more of a release of finger pressure than any distinct amount of trigger movement.

My P220 has the AC flat trigger in it and there is no comparison. The GG trigger is easier to install (no filing), easier to adjust, and I like the smooth face vs the AC model.

On an unrelated note, E2 grips stink. I'm ordering a set of Houge grips for the 227 tonight.

I did the AC install on a P220 a few weeks back, I have another AC trigger but I'm not going through that experience again. This GG trigger went in a P227, as per my previous post the GG design is vastly superior IMO.

For anyone wondering what a "standard" SIG reach trigger would look like (angle in relation to the gun at rest) with all the DA pre-travel removed. This is it on a Nickel P229. The at rest position of the trigger is moved back and provides more room for gloved hands in front of the trigger.

I didn't. I can't say for sure if they are coated or not but there is quite a bit of resistance when turning the wrench both ways so I'd say they are coated.

Asked in a couple of threads, including one the was started by GG, but never got an answer.

If anybody knows, will the flat trigger disqualify the gun from IDPA? Also, why an Aluminum and a Steel version? Just wondering.
