Hello everyone,

I'm excited to finally be part of a forum that is about actually helping one another. I look forward to contributing to the best of my knowledge and support anyone with questions about the weapons I own (P220 Combat and P365 SAS). I'm not as versed in weapons as I was with the M16 in 2011, but I'm always willing to help out.

Just a tip about Northern Virginia: not many ranges up here, and not many that are reasonably affordable in the membership sense or distance.

I'm interested in purchasing the next carry in the form of the P320. I just don't know what's "good enough" for accuracy, consistency, and speed. I'm also interested in purchasing or building an AR pistol.

Look forward to reading and conversion with you in the forums!

Best,
Mariano

Welcome. I like the P320 X-Compact for a carry size. I carry it when wearing more clothes and carry the P365 when wearing fewer cloths. They complement each other well. I don't know what caliber for the AR pistol you are looking for but my .22LR Smith & Wesson AR M&P 15-22 pistol is a blast to shoot and plink with. It seldom fails to feed a round. I've been happy with it.

NOVA is a very difficult place to shoot. I live close in. For me it’s 45 min to the nearest range or clays course. I often drive 90 minutes

It depends on where you are, if you are further out it gets better...I'm 20 minutes from Elite, which has a great indoor facility with 25/50/100 yard ranges for $30/month if you're a veteran, and 20 minutes from Bull Run, which has good clays shooting.
Welcome, neighbor! I too, live in NoVa. Fortunately for me, I have an indoor range a mere three miles from me. Outdoor ranges however, are another thing. There's the Izaak Walton League in Leesburg and Clark Brothers in Warrenton (but you're required to buy their ammo).
Hola, Welcome from Georgia.
Welcome from west Michigan!
The 320 is a fine platform, I don’t shoot mine as much as I used to. I’ve chosen to carry 229’s, so my practice time is mostly with them.
Last time I ck’d, Palmetto State armory has a few “blem” pistol AR platforms for cheap (under 5 bills). Good pieces for entry level owners.
Greetings from Kansas.
Welcome from Georgia.
Welcome from Florida. We can shoot in our backyard.

Welcome from Northern Indiana enjoy the conversation.
Welcome! Former NoVA resident here. Have you tried the NRA HQ Range over in Fairfax? Great range and reasonably priced.

Yes both are sadly 45 minutes from me in Arlington. It’s why I spent fortune on a Dvorak training system
