I used to order ammo from Target Sports USA. Their supply seems very limited and their prices are way higher then before. I just recently ordered from Tombstone tactical in AZ. Got a thousand rounds of Blazer Brass 124 gr 9mm for $275.
I find it just the opposite. Just this morning, TargetSportsUSA.com offered Blazer Brass to me at a price cheaper than that.

For 9mm range use, I only buy Federal 124 grain for my Sigs/others and S&B 124 grain for my CZ's. Several times a year, mainly on national holidays, these online sellers have deals and sometimes are just trying to reduce their inventory levels. No sales tax, free shipping, big discounts etc. I load up by buying 1-5000 rounds to who ever (with a good reputation) is the least expensive delivered to my door. For .22LR, Target Sports had a great deal last year on CCI SV and I got 10,000 rounds, good enough to last me quite a while. I would love to buy my ammo from my LGS, but not for the prices that they charge.

Small businesses do not reflect the political bias of the State unless they are in a hurry to fail. Big businesses usually DO reflect political bias, especially if it’s Leftist. So support of 2A small businesses, regardless of where they are located is a good practice; avoiding large businesses that clearly lean Left is also a good practice.
While that may be true generally, I don't believe that statement holds true for the gun industry.
For example, Beretta was in Maryland even while Maryland became very anti-gun. Beretta manufactured items that a Maryland citizen was not allowed to own and shipped those items to other states. It wasn't until Maryland starting legislating that Beretta could only manufacturer items that they could sell in Maryland -- even those items were shipped to other states-- that Beretta moved to Tennessee.

Do you check the location of where the business is located before ordering? If I see the business, I'm ordering from is in a deep blue state, I try to not send my money or business that way.

A lot of the deep blue state leaders are anti 2nd amendment. If you agree with that ideology, then that's on you. But don't expect me to support your state's economy with my dollars.

Or am I wrong for thinking like this?
I don't want to penalize any 2A business, especially ones that are trying to survive in anti-gun states. So, no.

If they have the best price, they get my business.

Target Sports had the beans to tell our AG blue queen to eff-off. No other ammo companies would ship to the 'Karenwealth' cuz bed wetting, Target Sports read the AG's proclamation and laughed. I support TS 100% no matter what the price

Davy Crockett said it best -

"You may go to hell, and I will go to Texas."

It's my opinion that The Wall was built along the wrong border.

Thanks to HEB we source all of our food from local farmers and ranchers. Texas raised and grown. No blue state poison for me.

You got to go deep to out deep state somebody like me. I look to see where the gunpowder was mined and where did that brass come from? China I bet. So you got your Hawaiian gunpowder under your communist red China bullet packed in a box made in God knows where, right? Are you still with me on this?

Track the shipping too.
How many blue states did your bullet box go through? How much mid-eastern oil was pushing the jets being flown by probable third world terrorists just looking for a building to smash into?

I suppose you could just close your eyes and hit the "BUY IT NOW" button.....as long as you use PayPal linked to a New World Order credit card company.

Yeah, I'm sick of this.

it has to be an exceptional deal and almost free shipping to order online because I have 3 Academy Sports within 20 miles, and Academy's prices are very good indeed for common ammo (9mm and .45)

Living in a commie state, I’m just happy to be able to find someone who is willing to ship directly to me without having to go through an FFL.

Go to Trueshotgunclub.com and they'll ship direct to you. If you live in a state like Massachusetts you'll have to furnish a current LTC.

Best Regards,

Marc

I agree 100%. Don’t feed the enemy…or their anti #2A anti-American nonsense. There are several ammunition manufacturers- I don’t recall names - that made it clear if you voted for Biden, they would not sell you ammunition.
Who are these guys...I'll buy from them. Down here the ATF & that zero tolerance just closed another gun shop that's been in business for over 40 years...Guy has a family he has to support but seem our government doesn't give a **** about us.

So by not buying from a vendor in a blue state are you not playing right into that state’s hands by potentially putting that vendor a small step closer to going out of business? I think we should be supporting a 2A business who is an oasis in an otherwise barren state.
I agree with this here. I don’t like the idea of supporting the economy of a blue state. But if the Pro 2A businesses are not supported, then eventually they go away and 2A rights and support are eroded away even more. I agree with the idea of supporting anywhere our 2A rights are being supported.

I won't give blue cities or states a penny in tax revenue if I can avoid it. But I'd make an exception for a friend like @phlyers13, because he's a good dude who just happens to live near a blue city.

As someone above said- vote with your dollars. I pay a little extra to buy locally.

Your post is a dichotomy.

I won't do this, except for...

Those are two diametrically opposing points.

Okay, the things that influence what, where and how I buy guns, parts and ammunition are as follows:

a. Where is it made? I want U.S.A if possible. I will not buy anything from Russia, which is why I don't own an AK-47 yet and I would really like one, so that I can learn the gun.

b. What is the quality of the product or ammo?

c. Price?

d. Quantity? How much can I buy and will I be able to get that same quantity in the future. Right now my go-to online ammo supplier is American Ammunition, LLC. Otherwise, ammoseek.com.

I would love to buy from my local gun stores, but I build all of my long guns and can't get the parts from the local stores. If the local store is running a sale on ammo, I will buy from them as long as its not Wolf, Red Army, Tula, etc.

Sopeaking of Target Sports. I got several hundred rounds of Win White Box from them and am having some troubles with my P229 that seemed to be due to having installed a Super Strut and skeletonized hammer. But I went back to OEM and am still having issues with failures to fire. Most of the ones that do fire shoot some pretty big flames from the muzzle. Have you heard anything indicating that TS unloads bad ammo.
I have bought a lot of ammo from Target Sports over the last five years and it has all been good ammo. Lately, they just haven't had the ammo I am looking for in stock.
