Sopeaking of Target Sports. I got several hundred rounds of Win White Box from them and am having some troubles with my P229 that seemed to be due to having installed a Super Strut and skeletonized hammer. But I went back to OEM and am still having issues with failures to fire. Most of the ones that do fire shoot some pretty big flames from the muzzle. Have you heard anything indicating that TS unloads bad ammo.
There have quite a few discussions on this forum regarding the unreliability of Winchester White Box Ammo. I really don’t think it is the fault Target Sports .

Do you check the location of where the business is located before ordering? If I see the business, I'm ordering from is in a deep blue state, I try to not send my money or business that way.

A lot of the deep blue state leaders are anti 2nd amendment. If you agree with that ideology, then that's on you. But don't expect me to support your state's economy with my dollars.

Or am I wrong for thinking like this?
I have been ordering my ammo from Fenix Ammo from Michigan. Very good pricing and service.I live in Indiana and get it shipped in 1 to 2. Days.

WWB does not have a universally stellar reputation, to be honest.

I tried one box of Winchester READY flat nose .45 ACP recently. It was smokier than a Turkish Hookah Parlour on Saturday night. The gun was filthy afterwards, and to top it off I had three FTF in that one box.

I’ve had maybe 10 or 12 orders from TS USA. All 100% ok. I order my carry ammo from them (Federal HST .45, Speer GD 124+p, Federal GMM .38), as well as range ammo from time to time. Prices are not rock bottom but they have been solid for me.

That is likely true.
NEVER! Not ever.

You ordered WWB which has a reputation of being crappy ammo, and you modified your gun, and then you want to blame Target Sports? That makes no sense to me.
I don't want to blame TS for anything, but I never had so many faiures with Winchester before and so far I haven't had much experience with Target Sports. It does make sense that the problem is with modifications to the gun, since I am having similar problems with Fiochi. that was sourced from a local gun store.

Good to hear. Along with the Winchester White Box, I also got several boxes of Golden Sabre Bonded 124+p. They are out of Federal HST, but I got some from them a few years back.

At the risk of thread drift.
Was the problem with WWB and Fiochi right after the mods.
Sounds like maybe light strikes with the firing pin. Have you looked at fired cases, and the failure cases ?

I wouldn't order anything from Dick's Sporting Goods online
I wouldn't buy anything from them period. I know their stance on the 2nd. I was even in a local one once years ago before their whole anti-2nd Amendment stance fiasco, and when I looked around less than a minute I could tell it was a yuppie oriented hipster store. Full of kyack gear and luggage racks for special edition SUV's. I have plantar fascitis and flat feet. I went in there looking for Green Superfeet. They had them in stock. I walked out without buying them. Or anything from them ever again.

Yes and the indentations from the pin strikes don't look that light. These 3 are from 100 Win & 70 Fiochi attempted today.

I'd check the Winchester site for any potential recalled ammo- perhaps you received some defective.

I won't give blue cities or states a penny in tax revenue if I can avoid it. But I'd make an exception for a friend like @phlyers13, because he's a good dude who just happens to live near a blue city.

As someone above said- vote with your dollars. I pay a little extra to buy locally.

I buy 100% from where I can get it the cheapest. I used to get 1k rounds online for about $180-200. Now, it's double that. I got lucky recently and got 1k rounds for $311. Annoys the **** out of me, so I just go where it's cheapest...

2A dealers regardless of State of residence and color clearly believe in the 2nd amendment. Just because a State may be largely blue or red doesn't mean other like minded 2A folks don't live and thrive there too. I live in a state that was red but recently turned blue. I'm not moving because of what happened. See the logic?

To me it doesn't matter what state it comes out of. What does matter is price, quality and the cost of SHIPPING. A lot of times a good deal on ammo is absolutely killed by a ridiculous high cost of shipping.
Because of this post I was looking to see if I could grab some more. Got a couple of decent prices, so was going to pull the trigger. $108 shipping!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous
