I'm looking for a firing pin for a German folded slide (1990 date code). Looking at various places it appears there is a slightly different length in the "early style" vs the "late style."

Old style - 2.4675
New style - 2.4345

Does anybody know the proper length? And what is considered new vs old style.

AFAIK, the only model that changed firing pin length was the P220 in different configurations, including the Browning BDA the American P220 .45 and the P220 9mm Euro. Which "folded slide" model are you questioning?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking, sorry.

I bought a stripped Sig 220 slide that is completely stripped so I'm trying to piece things together over time.

Date code is 1990, it has Exeter - NH and Made in W. Germany markings.

Wasn't sure if this was considered an early version using the different firing pin.

Post the serial number. You can XX out the last two if you want.
