It sucks.
well, the belt itself isn’t bad, I mean it’s rigid enough and all that, but the buckle design is enormous. Am I wrong? I got the smallest buckle they offer, but the offset design makes it bulge out more than almost anything I have besides maybe the big cobra buckles we all fell for 10 years ago. I went with Kore because the tennicor zero is out of stock in my size. I received the belt in just a couple days and everything about the experience with the company is good. No complaints about any of that. I just hate this bulging buckle.
Rant over.
Urban Up has a great belt that fits the need. A little sexier but also fits the need is a Mitch Rosen belt.

I like the Vedder Cobra gun belt. It is simple, strong and works for me. The small Cobra buckle works as it should and fits through belt loops without issue. Once it is adjusted for the correct length I find no need to readjust it.

I think anything that overlaps both ends of the belt is going to be similar. Unfortunately most belts that reverse direction rather than overlap trade the bulge for loud and annoying Velcro. The tennicor is the only one I’ve seen that addresses both issues and seems like the absolute best option. I knew this and my impatience drove me to a poor decision. I’ll keep the kore but I’m definitely ordering a tennicor as soon as they are back in stock.
I have a tennicor as well and it is a great belt but it is almost not sturdy enough to hold a standard size gun with the weight. Sometimes it seems that I am tightening it to keep everything sturdy and then because it is a narrower belt, it seems to be cutting into my waist. I know this sound stupid but its what my issues are with it. great belt but it has its limitations too.

Agreed. Same thing with the Nexbelt brand. Even with their appendix carry buckle it’s all just super bulky and uncomfortable. Wait for the Tenicor belt. It’s all I wear now and I swear by them. Excellent in every way.

In have worn a A&G Custom Gun Belt for several years, and it's been fantastic. Last Christmas I asked Santa to give me a Kore Essentials Western Belt, and I must have been a pretty good boy because he put one under the tree. I made the request because I just lost about 20 pounds, and I don't intend to stop loosing, therefore I wanted an adjustable belt that would shrink to my size as I lost more weight. I have been totally pleased with the performance and look of my Kore Western style with the horse shoe buckle. It holds everything from a P365 IWB to my full size 1911, and my 1911 45 Compact OWB. Just wanted to share my experience. Talk to Kore about your issues. They are great to deal with.

I don’t blame Kore or their product and I don’t think it’s at all defective. It just doesn’t fit my needs. I think the tennicor is a better design in terms of profile while the Kore is probably better in terms of load bearing capability. Kore has its niche and for that target customer it’s probably a fantastic product. Its adjustability is a cool feature. I guess it doesn’t suck per se’ but for what I want, yeah, it sucks.

I'm going to try one of the synthetics, mainly for long-term rigidity and infinite adjustability. Not so much concerned with looks as it's always under a cover garment. I mostly carry IWB @ 3:30 and the ratchet buckle appeals to an old guy with no butt and a gut!

There’s a company called Grip6, which makes nylon belts and an infinitely adjustable buckle. The “normal” belt will support one of my smaller guns, but not something like a 229. They do make a “work belt” meant to be worn by heavier duty requirements. I don’t have one, but it might be something to look into.

One other thing. You can get the buckle engraved if you wish. I have a number of buckles that I wear with different belts. Here’s one.
