Hello,
Does anyone know if there's a manufacturer out there that produces an Extended Safety for P220 Series.
It would be nice to be able to ride the safety during operation like I do with my 1911's.
Many thanks!

It's a rather limited production model, the P220 SAO, so probably not a lot of incentive. Doesn't have the litteral millions of production units the 1911 does.

Most of those improvements were due to competition use, of the 1911s for decades, something the P220 hasn't really seen.

A good gunsmith could probably extend the thumb pads, as an alternative.

OP,
Strike 1
MIM'd parts do NOT accept weld.
Strike 2
PVD coated parts do NOT accept weld either.

Whittling a piece of tool steel would be your best option.
