Anyone used ETS mags for the P320? I've heard mixed things about these.

I use them at the range. They work OK for me. But for my EDC I only use OEM magazines.

Work OK, meaning somewhat unreliable, or basically the same as OEM so far?
Curious myself as you can 3 ETS for the price of one Sig mag.
Ets and pro mag are in the same boat, dont waste your time/ money on them.

You can find SIG mags for good deals from time to time and thats when you stock up a few.

SIG mags are a little more but buy once and be done with it. You want cheap mags and cheap guns maybe look into glocks.

IMHO going cheap on mags is not the place to try to save a frw dollars...

I have 10 x 21 round P320 SIG mags (Canyon finish) and none of them have any issues. I have put at least 4.5k rounds through the gun (so far) with equal usage on each mag. I bought a generic mag just to try it out and the 8th round jammed, since them I will only use a SIG mag. Like many have said, its a bit more money but once you get it, you're done. Cheap mags are for Glocks, no disrespect to Glock lovers.

I don't buy the, "You get what you pay for," cliché, but I do believe you never get what you don't pay for.

You can pay premium price for a piece of ****, but the opposite is almost never a possibility.

I guess you're right in a way. An OEM part can be a bag of sh** as well because the OEM is a bag of sh** to begin with; however, if we are referencing stats, which in this case, I believe we are, then a SIG Mag, hands down would be the better option. Even though an ETS mag may be a good purchase, the SIG Mag would be the better choice (statistically speaking of course).
I had 5 come with a 320 I bought. I sold them all. They were not reliable. Fine if you just want for dinking at the range but thats it.

I have 3 21 rounders and several hundred rounds thru them and they have been flawless. Only run brass cased ammo thru them, they will not feed steel or aluminum cases due to the difference in case lubricity properties.

I had feeding issues trying a couple ETS mags out. They also did not click into the magwell very well on my AR9 that takes Sig P320 mags.

I did buy some of the ACT magazines - so far they work great and are half the price of Sig mags. Problem is they are always out of stock. Magazines - Sig Sauer Magazines - Advanced Tactical

I’ve had bad luck with ETS mags. But like Jeff above, I’ve had great luck with ACT mags.

I haven’t tried ETS but I bought 4 pro mags on clearance once, I only took one out of the package. I’ll only buy Sig or Mec-Gar now, Pro Mag was the only source of malfunction in my 229 ever.

I don't buy anything cheap, guns or otherwise. Inexpensive if high quality yes. I've never seen ProMag make anything worth a hill of beans! I only use factory magazines. Started with Pro Mag years ago on my Ruger 10/22, didn't work worth:poop: Resorted to stockpiling as many 10 round rotarys I could get. Then Ruger develop the BX25 mags, now I stock pile as many of those as I can get!

I've used the 17 round 9mm ETS magazines for the P320. I have two and use them for practice; I have to say that I have not had a single problem with them. Like most new magazines, I had a difficult time loading the last cartridge, but after keeping them fully loaded for a couple of months, I've not had a problem at all. I only shoot brass cased ammo if that makes a difference (as Bad Bob says above). I wouldn't carry them as a primary magazine, I'll stick with SIG magazines, but I wouldn't hesitate to have them as a back-up.

I don't have any hands-on experience with ETS mags for SIG. But I do with ETS for Glock and MP5. ETS mags are fine for range mags as they will allow you to practice malfunction drills about 10% of the time you use them. I know guys that use ETS Glock for competition, usually in a PCC, and they work most of the time.

I have had numerous SIGS since 1989 in 226, 220, 230, All Around, P6, and 320.. I have never had a problematic SIG OEM mag other than a few needing worn out springs replaced. And they were heavily used and abused. The only non-SIG mags that have ever proven reliable enough to carry are Walther P1 mags modified to fit the P6. SIG P6 mags are almost impossible to find but the Walthers have worked 100% for my P6.
Sig, Mec-Gar(which make OEM magazines for Sig and others), and ACT mags have all been very reliable in my P320s (and 220/226/229 pistols).

Because of manufacturing variances and quality control (or lack thereof) I would stay away from both ETS and ProMag products.

Just my opinion - and the result of my experience with those manufacturers… I’ve had many students in my handgun classes that showed up with ETS and PoMag products and experienced difficulties.
