Enhanced Elite vs Legion

Legion comes with an adjustable trigger, and has the undercut below the trigger guard. Also comes with X-Ray3 sights. Obviously, the beavertail is smaller.

And….an extra magazine. Not sure if this falls under your definition of mechanical or not.

Don’t forget the G10 grips.

I’ll put my 229 Elite up against any 229 Legion any day.

As the owner of both weapons I would say….And why wouldn’t you? The Enhanced Elite is virtually the same gun minus the G10s, X-ray sights and 3rd magazine. If you were to spend the extra money and add the G10s, X-rays, and an extra magazine you have almost bought a Legion. Almost. 😉

What about the Dark Elite models?
I just sent mine back to Sig for the service package as well as the X-RAY sights. They do have the aluminum grips which I like, but I have not tried the E2 grips. This P229 DE is my 1st Sig Sauer but it won't be my last one either!

I have a P220 DE and really like the DE signature aluminum grips. They are part of the DE package. Can’t imagine replacing them with E2s.
