Anyone have an opinion on these milspec ARs?

I have two. The first I bought as a complete rifle and the second was a stripped lower I mated to a complete DPMS upper. I'm mainly a handgun guy but I've been happy with both.

I have a DPMS Gen 1 RFLR AP-4 in 308. It has a floating handfuard.

I believe they use the term "Mil Spec" a little loosely. The majority of their barrels are not chrome lined 4150 steel...

Their claim to fame as I understand it, is they are an umbrella for several contractors that supplied spare parts for the government, for the M16.

I've got an "early" cast AR lower, that was sold "Pre-Ban". Some of their receivers are out of 6061 alloy aluminum instead of 7075.

Depending on the model, see what they note in its construction... and go from there.
