Has anyone tried Dawson XD adjustable sights on their Sig P229? This is a range gun. I will be changing barrels .40 and 9mm.

That's a good question.
The P229 Sport I had came with adj rear sight, and I loved it. Now, my 229R in 357 has 8/8 and I dont like them.
I was thinking myself if an adj rear sight could work...

Just spoke with Robert Burke, and he says yes. Dawson does make one for them, but they just barely go beyond the slide. They hang over just a bit. Says a lot of his customers are pleased with them too.

Im not sure. Robert Burke is The Sig Armorer.
That being said he just does the work and sends them back out. You can give him a call though.
One thing about Robert, he'll help ya all he can.
He's sure helped me in the past. And over the phone at that lol...

I just checked my 229E2....had new Daswon FOs put on but, alas, they are not adjustable. But wow, what a difference for these old eye. Wonderful.
