I could go for one of those too. I just picked up and older 10 shot 617 6", I could handle the Colt too.

I want NEW Blued Colt revos. A new Royal blue python is more wanted by me than continuing to release new stainless guns.

It needs rubber grips to dampen the punishing recoil of the .22 LR!

I bet there'll be some wood available for that, if not from Colt, then the aftermarket.

It’s very cool,the only thing stopping me is the 999 price , you can get three .22 weapons for that

I am not finding anything available out there at the moment.

You and me both. I was expecting it to be a bit pricey, like $700ish. Street price will still be $850. For a .22? Pass for me.

I picked up a $250 Sentinel 9 shot a couple years ago and it is surprisingly accurate and decently built.

Sweet, sweet piece but a lot of money for a .22.

Yeah. If only they were replaceable. And if only a number of aftermarket options existed...

My King Cobra in .357 has been excellent. Assuming the .22LR version is comparable, this will be several levels above the less expensive .22 offerings from most competitors.

Id grab a smith before a colt, but not bad either way

I think Smith makes a better gun, but for some reason Colts just feel better in the hand.

Colt Blue is a thing of beauty, but having grown up in Miami I have always been a fan of stainless. Also easier to clean up scratches, so I am less hesitant to take it out to play.

the old Smith' are what put colt under so yes they did make a better gun. However that may be different with "New Colt/ CZ" the way the cylinder on a S&W opens is vs a Colt is a big one for me.

Colt also re-did their lockworks. The Python used to be too fragile wheras the later Troopers and Cobras were too crude. I'm dying for a chance to poke around inside the new ones!

From what I've seen lately, I'd say S&W maybe used to make a better gun, but I don't think so anymore. The new Colts are some of the higher-end production revolvers being made at the moment, imo.
