CZ Scorpion Barrel Nut

Hello Sigtalk,
Anyone be able to remove the barrel nut off of an CZ scorpion?
Took it to the gun smith and they weren’t able to remove it.
Things I’ve tried:
-Debonder applied 2-3 times a day
-bought a HB industries tool specifically the the barrel nut.
Thinking of taking a small torch to it to loosen the loctite

Sounds like you are approaching it correctly. I'm not sure if you used a cheater bar with the HB Industries tool.....

Is this the carbine version or the pistol version? Just went through this with the carbine version.

The pistol version. Ended up taking it to a gun smith. Gave him the barrel nut removal tool so he gave me a discount.

How did yours go?

I was able to replace the handguard. I have a carbine I converted to bullpup. Similar problem. Just needed good leverage and careful bracing of the receiver.
