This pistol started out as a DA/SA “competition“ pistol, no decocker, lower the hammer manualy for DA.
In the original form it could be carried “cocked and locked”,or manually drop the hammer. I wanted a SAO pistol so the straight trigger was installed and the disconnect removed. By doing this the pistol is SAO with a 2 3/4 # trigger, I also replaced the aluminum grips with the basic rubber grips, replaced the “thin” thumb safety with the “paddle” style.
It is as close to being a 1911 pistol, without being a 1911. Light trigger, short reset.
I use this pistol for range and games. It’s a lot of fun to shoot, but not really suited for carry.
