Picked up my new (to me) CZ PCR Compact, the guy I got it from couldn't have shot it much because inside and out it looks like new, it's a decocker model and came with an upgraded hammer, VZ Grips, 5 mags and Trijicon night sights. DA pull is 9 pounds and SA is 4 pounds.
Took it to the range today and it's a very accurate shooter, the single action trigger pull has more takeup than I like but after my RAMI BD comes back from it's trip to the spa (getting the Cajun Gun Works Carry package put on and a couple other things done) I'll probably send this one out for a little love.

A good deal is kind of subjective but I think it was a pretty good deal based on the add ons and availability of the PCRs. I paid $775
The hammer is $88, Trijicon night sights $108, VZ grips $75, 3 extra mags $100, a couple upgraded springs $15 = $386 and that doesn't include anything for the installation of the sights which locally is about $20 so about $400 in add ons and the base gun runs $550 to $600 when you can find one.

This is the second compact I bought but I sold the first one to my son in law, it has the steel frame and is a safety model and about 5 oz heavier.

That steel-framed compact is also quite light and handy. I checked one out before getting my PCR, was surprised it was still all-steel.

Nice p/u, birdzman, when you price it out (like you did & should) you got a fine handgun at a more than fair price. Mine's the S/A variety and just took a 4 hour Advanced Concealed Carry class and the CZ shined.

Grips look great, yours too, Mo . This CZ is a handy size, fit is legendary and 14 + 1 is hard to beat.

I haven't had the pleasure or displeasure of dealing with the crummy stock sights because my RAMI BD is the model with the night sights, the PCR already had the Trijicons installed and the Accu Shadow has the fiber optic front and plain rear sight.

I'd say it was a good deal. I don't know much about CZs, but it looks PIMP.

They were pretty crappy stock, so I replaced mine with Mepros.

I'm thinking that the hammer and a SA pull around 4#.....it may already
had some work done on it.
