Curved trigger wear look normal? Looking to gather some data.

Hi all! I was doing a detailed cleaning on my p365 and noticed that the front part of my trigger looks to have almost some finish gone. I figure this is likely normal wear as sometimes trigger fingers get sweaty and wear some of the finish off, especially considering the trigger is a MIM part and there can be voids. Anyway. I'd like to see others standard 365s just to compare and see if this is normal or an anomaly. Thanks! Below are photos for reference.

How many pulls you got on it?
Finish wear can be normal depending on use

Quite a bit of handling from dry fire. About 400 from dry fire and another 350 from live fire. I do wipe it down after each use. When I did buy it new it already had a fair bit of handling wear so it could just be that. I guess if it really annoys me I could replace the trigger. They aren't hard to do with patience.

Pictures are too close. Hard to tell what you're seeing there in context with the rest of the pistol. My guess is that it's just fine. The P365 is a weapon, not a museum piece to be examined under magnification.

In the last year of ownership I don't think I've ever even thought to inspect the finish of my P365 trigger shoes. They seem to be holding up. I probably wouldn't care if it managed to fade/rub off.

It looks fine to me. The guns I carry all show signs of wear, the p356 included. It’s a tool, and if you use it, it’s it’s going to show it just like any other tool would. Just check it on a regular basis if you carry it in the rain or if you sweat a lot. Give it a quick wipe down with some gun oil, the magazine included and it serve you well for many years to come. It’s a fantastic carry piece.

I'm debating on that or getting a spare curved trigger, since i plan on getting a 365x slide a d putting a holosun 407k on top. I probably will stick with the curved as I'll keep using the standard grip mod instead of the xl grip. Probably. I might change my mind tomorrow. So many choices!

If you have the opportunity, try a flat trigger. I really like them myself.

Im sorry to hear that. Did you replace the parts, treat them, or move on to something else?

Or send the gun back to Sig.

...just sweat all over your carry gun.

Good advice!

Edit: this is all in jest, obviously

I like my flat triggers so well I have them in almost all of my guns. So much more comfortable on my trigger finger. I put the Sig trigger in my 320 and 365. And a Wilson Combat in my 1911's.
For me, this falls into the "You're kidding... right?" category.

Oh believe me I know how ridiculous it is. That's why I welcome the data of...mine is doing the same thing and it's fine. Which others have offered. And criticism too and that's fine. It's the internet damnit! Anyhow, I've come to conclusion it isn't an issue.

With my alien sweat I'm prone to rust, lol. Rusty mag's got the Norrells moly-resin treatment, not an issue since and is nice as no oil is needed now but the oem finish is lacking in my opinion. The trigger I cleaned it up and will spray the booger picker one day with norrells but I've since replaced it with the mcarbo flat. Sight rust wasn't bad, hit with penetrating oil and it mostly alright.
