Do you conceal carry at a funeral?

Carry at a funeral

So a few weeks ago I had to attend my son’s grandmother on his mothers side (one of the ex-wives) and asked my wife to attend with me and she said ”NO” and I didn’t respond other than ok, well the day of she‘s like where are you going, why are you all dressed up like you going to a funeral.…..lol If I didn’t love her but she can’t remember a thing. We got into a heated adult conversation and then when she saw me pick up my EDC she was like “ you’re not carrying at a funeral” I’m like really, I’ll see you when I get back.

Now I say yes because we got divorced in 1993 and my son is 32. While I will know people attending there will be others I do not know. So sorry not sorry for carrying.

H_ll, I plan to carry at my own funeral. Hope to go to heaven, but what if the devil tries to grab me first?

If they change their mind and decide to cremate me, I'm always up for a little excitement . . . !

I carry everywhere I go. You don't need a gun until you need it and you never know when you will need it.

After 44 plus years as a law enforcement officer its just second nature.

what about a Sig P230 SL, still classy and a little more covert than the afore mentioned Elite Stainless 226/9?

for more open, open carry, but still classy as eff, you could always go patent leather bandolier, with matching shotgun and sling. set off by silver, or white gold, it's easy to accessorize with.

I also read about a Barrett / Tiffany collaboration, where they did some nice armament accents, including formal event tripods and turret mounts.

Well, it won't do you any good if Carrie is at the prom. I was dancing with my daughter at her wedding and she patted my hip and said she was glad I was carrying.

I’m glad to see you got the BBQ gun in there. That’s gotta be your maximum bling gun. If it’s too gaudy for a funeral or a wedding then it’s likely just perfect for a BBQ…….

It’s on topic!

An elderly, but hardy cattleman from Texas once told a young female neighbor...

....if she wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gunpowder on her oatmeal each morning.
She did this religiously and lived to the age of 103.
She left behind 14 children, 30 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a 40 foot hole where the crematorium used to be.

Ever watch the old westerns? All the men, except many the undertaker, had a 6 shot revolver on their hips. Nobody thought anything of it.
Ever seen a military funeral? They shoot guns.
Ever heard of shootings at funerals, weddings, church/temple/etc. meetings?
No play is safe. The only reason that evil takes over is that good person don't carry!

I ALWAYS carry at funerals- with silver bullets. You never know when you might need to shoot a live corpse with hairy palms. It's a dangerous world.

Come on now , Kensington avenue is quite entertaining in a hilariously twisted way.
Be sure to tour Germantown while you're there!

Carry and don't worry.
Except military cemeteries - no gun zones, unfortunately. Also private residences without permission — disrespectful.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!!

How many times have all seen a mass shooting or attempted mass shooting at a church? I'm sure most of those attendees thought to be respectful as well.

Other than maybe buying illegal drugs, or doing something illegal, I figure a Conservative, Protestant church is probably one of the most unsafe places to be in this crazy world today. Sadly. And not getting any safer with the looney toon sitting in the White Housr.

Yes. Best way to ensure you have a chance to not prematurely wind up like the guest of honor...
