Not just a supporter, he was an active Sanders campaign volunteer for the 2016 election.Shooter was a Bernie Sanders supporter.
It has also been reported that he was so involved with the Sanders campaign that he let his business license and home inspector certification lapse during the campaign. Not just a supporter, he was an active Sanders campaign volunteer for the 2016 election.
Bernie admitted to it on the House floor this morning. While being a hypocrite calling for civility
So it's been established he was just some crazy mentally ill person? I mean sure, he's got issues, otherwise he wouldn't have done something we would never even consider. But he was an assassin, and not all assassins are crazy nut cases, are they??Crazy is not a political, cultural, or religious affiliation and mental illness isn't limited to conservatives or liberals or nationalists or globalists. Just because someone voted for a particular person or volunteered on a campaign (which over 10,000 people did) doesn't mean it's that leader's fault - just as Republican lawmakers shouldn't be held to account for the Dylan Roofs of the world.
Don't go down the path that leads you to blaming an entire group of people because there happened to be a crazy person or two - it's not good for the political discourse in this country and only deepens the divide and cheapens the tactics used against us.
I agree with you, but if you go back to the past 8 years conservative and libertarians weren't calling for violence. Nor would we have if Hillary won. Trump wins, and man the left has gone nuts. They have gone full re-turd, never go full re-turd. I think it's typical of the left's mindset, socialism and communism is dangerous, and violent so what is one to expect when they act out their beliefs.Crazy is not a political, cultural, or religious affiliation and mental illness isn't limited to conservatives or liberals or nationalists or globalists. STOP with this reductive thinking. You're doing exactly what I said and it's making this country worse.I agree with you, but if you go back to the past 8 years conservative and libertarians weren't calling for violence. Uh, I mean he was a building inspector in Illinois, not some elite operative. Yes you do have mental health issues if you think it's okay to travel 1000 miles to gun down some people because of their political positions. He also was arrested for beating his girlfriend in '06, seems it didn't stop him from gun ownership. So it's been established he was just some crazy mentally ill person? Seriously, I appreciate your efforts here, but there is no denying that the left is behind the majority of these kinds of attacks. Many left wing leaders have stood up and openly called for resistance, defiance, promoted rioting, sponsored BLM movements and sanctioned civil unrest all in the effort to disrupt the natural flow of life. Using the liberal media, these people have virtually perpetuated a state of civil war in American the likes that I've not seen in my lifetime. Your efforts, while noble, are actually quite naïve. I'm not saying Bernie Sanders or Barack Obama have ordered these attacks, but both have called for resistance, and they both have fostered an attitude of dissent. The national democratic battle cry right now is if you don't get your way riot, shut down highways, kill police, and secede from the union. How on earth can you assert there isn't a national left wing push to do these things?STOP with this reductive thinking. You're doing exactly what I said and it's making this country worse.
You don't have to go back far to see examples where you're flat wrong in your wide-sweeping assertion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L0K8Xdrv58
I'm not here to start a left vs right debate, but it's sickening that people believe that either party would condone or encourage this. We're all Americans and we're all in it together, so stop fanning the flames of hatred by buying into this whole left v right argument.
I'm glad they were there. It definitely could have been a LOT worse. For those that have no idea what the thread is about:

Nor should he have been denied his 2nd amendment rights, he was not convicted of a violent crime. If you were arrested due to a complaint from someone that you beat them, but never convicted in a court of law, would you be OK with being denied your right to own a gun?He also was arrested for beating his girlfriend in '06, seems it didn't stop him from gun ownership.
