What bore guide are you guys using with your 716? I was just about to purchase a Wheeler Engineering Delta Series guide and fortunately I read the reviews first. Someone wrote that he has a 716 DMR (which I also own) and that the guide would not properly seat. I am planning on hitting the range this upcoming week to break in the barrel and want to use a guide when cleaning.

Well, after doing some additional searching it looks as though the J Dewey AR10 guide might work out. I'll report back after I get it and use it.

Never used one but the Dewey products I have are top quality for sure.

Wanted to get back regarding the bore guide - I skipped it and just used a nylon coated cleaning rod.

Understand, just be aware that using a corrosive solvent could drip onto your rifle's trigger group - and that's a bad thing!!

Any solvent with ammonia can be corrosive. Hoppe's 9 is an example of a corrosive solvent, and Ballistol isn't...

Cheers
