Howdy,

Need to be in CA and my P229 will be my "motel gun".

Is there a best place to buy Sig mags or are they all the same price? I've only seen them at Sig Store at $44 + shipping.... Ouch!

Any reliable aftermarket makers?

Since you're from AZ, and probably only need them short term, I'd buy used. I've purchased many on GB with great results. I typically try and find the Sauer manufactured mags that came with the guns in the 1994-2004 Clinton mag ban era.
