Base plate options for P365XL w/ Katana Magwell

Hey ya’ll anyone with a Katana Magwell have luck with aftermarket base pads fitting? I have the Tactical Development Pro Large Ledge base pads on my 12 rounders but I have heard they won’t fit with the Katana. I was looking for a “ledge” style base pad for my 12 rounders that might fit. If none fit, i might just convert all my mags to 15 rounders because I don’t like how the OEM 12 round base pads disappear inside the flared magwell.

Also, i would like to get the FDEZ Werkz 15 round aluminum billet base pad. Has anyone had luck fitting these? The Tactical Development version is sold out but it comes with a spacer that is supposed to help it fit easier. Your feedback is much appreciated!

I have no information for you but I was thinking of getting the Katana. I tried looking for any info on comparable bases and found no information at all other than empire saying factory bases work.

For what it’s worth, some users have said that the Katana actually helps the 15’er print less.

So it appears that on Sigguy.com you can order a spacer that allows the FDEZ 15 round billet aluminum basepad to work with the Katana magwell. I’ve ordered them all. Will post pics when they come in!

Yeah I think so. He’s got a ton of videos on his YouTube channel. He just shipped my order and sent tracking info this morning. Can’t wait!

I have the Katana on the Wilson Combat grip for the 365XL (this is different from the Katana that goes on the Sig OEM grip for the 365XL).
I had to modify the FDEZ 15 round alum basepad to fit. I saw a post by someone who did the same mod. If I had known at the time about the siguy extension, I would have gotten that and saved myself the trouble.

Put the katana on the wilson 365xl. Easy, nice feel to it.
The 15rd mags are ok, but my 12 rounders need a little more.
Who else makes a slightly thicker/longer base plate?

Update: I got the Katana and the Fdez extended magazine basepad with spacer and it works great! Really gives the grip some extra weight and makes it easier to get a good purchase on the gun. It and the Hogue grip really drive my hand up high into the beavertail. I think I’m done with this build until I save enough for the new OEM slide that has the optic cut which allows you to keep a the rear dovetail sights with a red dot equipped. Already loved this gun, and now I love it more!

Has anyone got the Tac Dev or Magguts baseplates to work with the Katana?
