[MPX MCX SBR]

Hi. First post here. I have a MCX SBR and want to cut my 5.56 barrel down to 7.5 inches and run it with a can. I'd use it with bonded ammo if used for home defense, otherwise running FMJ at the range. I already have the larger diameter handguard and use it with my 9" 300BLK barrel and can. Before I cut the barrel I want to see what others are experiencing. I know a decent amount about external and terminal ballistics of this caliber. So, this question is really about reliability and experiences with this weapon setup.

1. Anyone out there using a 7.5 inch 5.56 barrel on their MCX?
2. Any problems with reliability with this setup?
3. Any additional mods need to be done, like with gas system?
4. General opinions good/bad/indifferent?

Any info and suggestions appreciated.
