I have this Poll Tomahawk, hand made by a friend, ex military. Curly maple, Carbon Steel Blade.
I am probably going to hand this down to family.. Its too nice to use. Maybe just put it at front of Door for , well, decoration..

OP's tool is beautiful.

While on the subject, ever try throwing them? A few times I've gone to arcades where you can throw them. How hard can this be? Right! Darned hard to get them to consistently stick, in my experience.
Throwing axes are different than combat Tomahawks. The weight and balance is different, my son in law throws axes in competition. His axes seem top heavy to me.. I’m no expert he is.. fun activity though, like big darts.

My Daughter has done it a few times. Me, not that many, but not at a arcade setting. I tried once in Ca and they said I had to have a partner. A partner to throw axes?
