A friend bought a P226 TACOPS in 9mm. He saw my MK25 and asked me why my barrel is chromelined. I said it's factory oem. His tacops barrel is not.
I happen to have an extra barrel for my MK25 which I bought, and that you guys said I didn't need! I told him this and he's planning to buy it from me.
Before continuing with this transaction let me ask several questions from you guys first.

1. Is the MK25 barrel going to drop in fit in my friend's 226 Tacops without any issues?

2. Is the MK25 barrel going to drop in fit in any other P226 9mm models?

It should. But, "Some fitting may be required" is always the the disclaimer.

As 12131 stated, Sig tries to make the majority of their parts to be "Drop In" as to be able to be replaced by "Armorers". Sig keeps pretty tight tolerances, but with tool wear and slight tolerance "stacking", it's possible to need to shave a couple thousands of an inch off of a part to fit "reliably"!
