Adjusting the Gas Valve down on the Canebrake

470 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  rundmc
Hello all,

I am trying to adjust my gas valve on the left side (of my Canebrake) down (as I do not have it suppressed yet). However, the lever is not budging at all. Do I need a tool to do this or should I just be able to do this with just my finger?

My legacy got so crudded up at one point I couldn't move it. Eventually I was able to get it to move.

Thanks mig1nc. I hoping mine loosens up. I may try placing some lubricant to see if that helps. My sig is new (had it about 2 weeks) so maybe in time it loosens..

It’s made so you can use a bullet tip to rotate the gas valve either left or right. I don’t think you’re suppose to lube the piston rings in there so be careful with the lube.
