OP,
Take a length measurement of the dust cover

SIG/Weaver rail slot spacing 7/16" ctr-ctr

1913 Picatinny rail slot spacing 1/2" ctr-ctr

(you gain more cross slots w/ the rail section that is in the dust cover)

I've been running a streamlight tlr 1 on my 226 tacops. Seems fine doesn't fall off after range trip (200rds). Are you having trouble mounting lights or lazers?

Invert
Insert onto parallels in the mill vice
Mill to 1913 Pic rail dimensions

(the 1913 slot spacing will NOT leave much to work with,hence the proprietary rail slot configuration)

many lights now come with "universal" adapters that work fine.
