A Future Sig Owner Says Hello From Ohio
Hi folks!
Thanks for letting me on the forum. I have recently been trying to crack the
Sig Sauer numbers code in order to find the right one for me.
. All the styles of Sigs are a little intimidating to the uninitiated, but I am slowly zeroing in on the one or two that would work for me. I was told that this site was a good one to gather good information.
I am a Vietnam infantry veteran and a CCW license holder who has recently retired from a half century of work. Restoring old British motorcycles was my passion and pastime for decades. Those days are behind me. Now I am spending more and more time selectively buying great firearms and trying to increase my skill at the range.
I am here to learn about the Sig Sauer brand. Practically everything I've heard about them has been positive. I would eventually like to have a full size and carry sized Sig. So far the modular P320 and P226 are of interest to me. I am also looking at the P229 Carry and P225 for carrying purposes. Of course, I am open to suggestions and recommendations.
I do ramble on sometimes so forgive this first post. A big hello to everyone here.

That's kind of you. I'm in Portage County out in the sticks. We don't get up to Cleveland much, but that's a possibility.

Welcome on board.
I'm by no means an expert, I learn something new every day, but in the last 37 years I managed to acquire some experience with handguns so now I try to share what I learned.
SIG Sauers and USGI 1911s are my favourite guns.
To me this is one of the best gun forums among the several I belong to.
Shoot safe.

Do you shoot on your property?
If so, can I shoot on your property?
Lol there are like 2 ranges around here and they both stink.
I'd be more than happy to drive down that way and let you see what I got.
Plus I believe H&M metal processing is around there, gotta make a visit to them soon anyways to get some black nitride done on some SS
