At the risk of sounding like a moron, i have a full size 320, if i want to get a smaller grip module like a carry, i assume i have to get a new slide and barrel as well, correct?
There are no such things as stupid questions, just stupid people! LOL No, of course you're not looking like a moron...we all come here to ask questions, so welcome to the site, and fire away any time.
Thanks fellas! I see we got some fellow vets, some serious collectors and even a Texan from my neck o the woods! Thanks for the information and pleased to meet you all!
As you have probably now discovered, Sig set it up for the 3 sizes of grip modules to accommodate different hand sizes. However, gun nuts with the "Signess" like to mix and match slides and see what they come up with. There's a thread somewhere on this forum that has pics of some pretty cool looking "Frankensigs."
I have a Full sized RX that I started off using a compact module on thinking it was easier to conceal. It was... by about a quarter of an inch. (not such a big difference) I soon realized that I can conceal a full sized pistol quite easily. Now it's my EDC.
Welcome to SigTalk. We have a lot of fun here but we don't consider anyone that has a Sig a moron.. no Sir. Congrats on your 320 and have fun mixing and matching and shooting in general. Greetings from the flat lands of Kansas.
They say there are no dumb questions, but in this case...
Just kidding! Welcome. Enjoy the P320. It's a great gun and the modularity makes it a lot of fun.
