716i Tread TALO vs 716i TREAD Snakebite

I know I want to get the 716i Tread, and I love the Coyote colors. I see 2 versions floating around the TALO and the Snakebite. It seems the Snakebite has an upgraded receiver…

i wanted to know the difference between the TALO and the snakebite if anyone knows?

thanks

What makes you think the receiver is different? 🤔

For the record, the basic 716i isn’t even listed on Sig’s website right now - let alone the “specialty” versions. But if you look at the M400 and see the differences in the M400 TREAD Snakebite, they are an upgraded trigger, handguard, and compensator. Most of the Snakebite accessories are cosmetic…I can’t see any reason to expect the 716i would be any different.

The difference is going to be all FDE (TALO) or FDE w/blk handguard (Snakebite) no major difference besides color. The 716I Tread is already pretty well appointed. Good luck.

I prefer the all FDE Talo but would take any 716I that I could get.

Thanks NavyGuy and GLD. @Navy87guy you are right, after rewatching the video I I meant the handguard not the receiver ( big difference oops). Looks like I need to find a dealer and get it shipped to an FFL once I just "pick what color" I like.

I personally like the Talo. I asked SIG to create a model with an upgraded trigger, charging handle and possibly one of there better Tango or Romeo optics. I now would like to add one of their new Clutch Lok Muzzle Devices. That would be the Ultimate 716I.... After that different chambering and lengths of barrels and we're in LMT MWS territory.

I’m in that boat. Sig makes a good factory gun, but . . . .

I'm not complaining I just always want more. Honestly though what they've left out and what would've cost us more is all shite that everyone would like their own way anyway, so no issues at the end of the day if you think about it. Looks like SIG made the right choice. What I want is a premium SDI level 716I but that is not a priority or profitable at the moment for SIG.
I like what they are doing though.... SIG is going in the right direction. Six of my rifle chambered guns are SIGs; 2x5.56x45, 1x7.62x35, 1x7.62x39, 2x7.62x51's. SIG is definitely working out for me.
The Sig 716i Snakebite SE has the flat blade trigger, and hybrid muzzle brake/flash suppressor.
