So, I just removed mine on a P320C and went from right to left and the install from left to right. It went flawless. I don't think it really matter based on how the dovetail is cut. It's not cut with a taper that I can tell.

No I have the Wheeler Sight Pusher. I have used a punch on other tho. The P320 is probably the easiest I have removed out of all of my pistols.
