320 compact mag issue with Wilson Combat frame, need help...

Below I have posted pics of my new Wilson Combat frame that I just got in the mail and installed on my 320 Compact. I inserted the factory mag and the base plate sticks out at the bottom. It looks bad in my opinion and I really don't like how it feels when I am gripping the gun. I am going to have to sand away some material to make it flush cause I cheeked all of my other 15 rounder's and they look the same in the grip. I am a little upset that Wilson did not make a curved bottom on the front strap that would mold the lines a lot

better than what i have pictured.

Am I being anal here or is this an isolated issue with my grip and its not supposed to be like this from you fellow WC grip owners. Thanks..

Mine looks just like it, I actually like the little bit of ledge it provides.

I'm actually planning to sand down the bottom of the module so that my Armory Craft base plates will work (and provide even more of a ledge).
that's the carry II if I am not mistaken, correct? It takes the 17 rnd mags and has the flared magwell which makes it mold into the magazine base plate a lot nicer. Mine is the compact that takes 15 rnd mags which is why it looks like it does I guess.
You are being "anal". Having the lip and sides of the magazine baseplate allows one to strip out a fouled/tied-up magazine in the unlikely event (for a P320, anyway) of a double-feed or other Type 3 malfunction. I would recommend that you get a SIG X-Compact grip module if the baseplate protruding out at the bottom of the front strap bothers you. Having owned both, I prefer the SIG X-Compact grip module. I like the AXG module so much more that I traded my X-Compact for the AXG Classic we had on hand in the shop.
I have the WC Carry II on my P320 X-Carry 9mm and the WC Compact on my P320 .357 SIG. These are the grips that should come on the P320 from the factory.

Some people view their EDC as a fashion statement or as some kind of collectable. Gun marketing depends on this, but its a tool. Tactical training keeps you safe not the looks. Here is my EDC P320C grip, it functions reliably in training. If fired In self-defense I know its gone to an evidence locker.

Looks like it should sir, both of my two Sig Carry grips do it and my new build which is a Wilson combat grip do it as well.
