To flush the caches, you want to bring up a Command prompt and Right Click to choose "Run As Administrator"- here are links to easy instructions:

Just copy and paste the command of each, so you don't make a typo. Do one command at a time.

i don't see user when i rt click the cmd.exe:

When you right click on cmd.exe are you seeing the Run As Administrator option, and does it then let you normal/left click on Run As Administrator?

yes, that's where i'm seeing \system32 not c:\user

fwiw:
i've seen the op twice.....why again is it that you have me going thru these hoops?

i can use both an rj-45 + wi-fi on this pc.

Bear, I got the impression it was something you wanted resolved, so I stepped up! No need to do any of it if you don't want to, so let's abort! :)
