Haven't seen this in a while especially at this price! When in my local Walmart I always check the ammo section, usually walk away disappointed since they do not carry the stuff I like, what they do carry that I need or want is usually out of stock.(.22lr .22 wmr 12 GA etc) when I found this I could not buy it fast enough! $25.47 500 round brick! But three boxes because that's their limit, sent the wife into by another three! Although its standard velocity it's still good ammo and I cannot remember last time I paid $0.05 around! Got home Googled the SKU number, $49, $59, $79, all out of stock. Found one for $99 in stock!

Very good price. My rifle works great with lower fps rounds but Mrs Tinyman need a minimum 1300 fps for her Browning 1911 22 A1 Compact.

I love my 22s! Only thing I can shoot all day without going broke or spending all day at my reloading bench! Right now I am backlogged about four or five thousand rounds of 45 ACP 460 Rowland and Sig 357 combined! And then there's this, I put a $300 Franklin Armory BFS III trigger in my $300 Ruger 10/22 Carbine, what used to be a two or three hundred round day has increased to around a thousand round day! Can't keep my finger off that dang trigger! Runs like a raped ape! Dump a bx25 magazine in three to four seconds! Except Winchester ammo!BTW to answer some questions ahead of time the snake skin was a seven and a half foot Western Diamondback that I shot with my Ruger single six. 22 mag about 25 years ago near the Arizona border with Lake Mead, the extended magazine release is something I thought I had invented about 30 years ago that I manufactured from a Vise grip release lever !

Our Walmart sells it for $4.66 a box. Limit 3 boxes. They will not sell a brick
That sucks! It's extremely sad that Walmart bent over to the(WOKE) I used to buy all my handgun ammo there! It's extremely sad that you're paying twice as much for 50 rounds when I can get 10 of those boxes in one package ×3! I used to get all of my 40 and 45 there usually Winchester white box in bulk cheap, all of my friends used to get their 9 m m various brands cheap, yet they still sell.223 and 556 without any second thoughts! The woke ideology has made everybody an idiot! It is not caliber! It is not handgun vs. Rifle! It is good versus evil Simple as that! The best answer for a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun end of story!

CCI Standard Velocity is what I shoot 95% of the time in my rimfire guns. Have not found anything better for accuracy without going to the megabucks primo target rounds! The few semi-autos that I have function 100% with the standard velocity stuff (most of my .22s are either bolt-action or lever action, so they obviously don't care).
Well I'll have to start looking for that. That is a good deal for today. I've only seen Federal Automatch at my local Walmart. No 500 round bricks of CCI so far.
They had 500 round bricks at Walmart near me recently. The lady wouldn’t sell them though. She said that it’s only sold in the 50 round box and the brick had to be broken down.
I find like a lot of big box stores Walmart is hit or miss. Seems when I'm looking
for ammo they're sold out. When I'm not the aisle and end cap has plenty
I bought a couple a thousand of the Standard directly from CCI last year and they shoot great in my M-17 revolver. I'm getting as good a groups with it as with much more expensive "match" loads. Like many out there I'm shooting a lot more .22s on my range trips.
It's extremely sad that Walmart bent over to the(WOKE) I used to buy all my handgun ammo there!
Their CEO is Doug McMillion -- try sending him an Email (he'll probably ignore it like he has all of them that I sent).
**** Walmart. I wouldn’t shop at that **** hole even if they paid me.

Yeah, I hear ya. I live about half-way between two exits with Walmart's ... 15 minutes in either direction. I haven't been in one in years. The wife unit won't shop there for anything. I don't know where to even look for ammo in Walmart... never bought any there. Lots of other places to find what I need .... especially guns and ammo, this is Gun World after all.
Paul -- truth, ok? IF WallyWorld started to sell YOUR ammo, would ya?

Probably not ... the price would have to be exceptional. I buy most of my ammo on-line and as I said there are lots of places to buy ammo / guns around here. I would drive passed three or more on the way to Walmart. Besides that, I have about a 10-year supply on hand now ... by the time I really need ammo Walmart probably won't even be selling ammo anymore.

100% agree that Walmart is a HOLE!!!! I go there because of the wife and the mother in law. I Go My Own Way let them do what they do, wander around the Sporting Goods Department hopefully to find something that I can use, end up at the ammo section, as previously stated usually leave disappointed! However 1 out of 10 times I get lucky , makes my stupid trips to that hole worthwhile.

Not to change the subject.....BUT.... today I was requested to help a buddy across the border in Arizona with some help on Corral and fencing issues at his fathers Ranch, as you might guess I brought a few of my babies with me! I put about 100 rounds .40 through my P229, change barrels put nearly 200 357 Sig, 300 rounds through my fnx-45 standard, 50 rounds through my fnx-45 tactical 460 Rowland. And two 500 round bricks that I just purchased yesterday are now part of the landscape! The look on that old man's face when he saw that binary trigger in action is worth a million bucks! Two reasons for the 50 rounds in the Rowland, reason one too expensive! Reason number two lack of ear protection on the bystanders!
$0.05/rd is about the limit on what I will pay for .22LR these days. I will pick up all I can buy at that price. Fortunately, I had ~110K/rd when the apocalypse occurred a few years back. It was cases that I had picked up locally for $9.99/bx of 525rds Federal. I had gotten down to a little less than 100K/rds when I started seeing it again locally.
