Bought this refurbished by Sig Sauer, I am guessing the "born date" on the box is the refurb date, don't have info on actual born on date.

In an effort to provide this information, not available elsewhere with more recent manufacture dates, I'd like to start compiling a list of serial numbers and manufacture dates by model on SIG handguns manufactured 2005 or later. If you would like to contribute, please post the serial number, production date and model of your SIG handgun from the sticker. Just picked up a P245. ( I realize this is not likely post 2005 but looking for a hint.)

SN is C 001 197. 97 can't be production as they started in 99, I think. Is the 001 significant? A run number?

Sig phone line has over an hour hold. Any tips in the right direction would be appreciated.
