So, I have been looking to add a threaded barrell (Sig manufactured), And add an Armory Craft Comp, And their guide rod and change to a lighter recoil spring. Would doing all this void my sig warranty?
I always thought Sigs carried a lifetime warranty on the firearm, but it actually turns out it's the lifetime of the original purchaser. So I'm wondering, if a Sig needs repairs or replacement, how does Sig know you're the original owner, does Sig ask for a receipt or some proof of purchase?
